Jack & Andy

We cannot thank Jack, Andy & the rest of the GWAAC team enough for the care they gave our son, Elliott, & the professional way they dealt with us, as parents. We will forever be grateful for the quick thinking, calm nature & the ability to keep us in the loop. Requiring an ambulance & the specialist care that comes with it, is an experience that lives with you forever. We are more thankful than words can express for all that you did to minimise the effects of the accident on our son. K&S

Jack Kilminster

I want to say a huge thank you to Jack who responded when I suffered an open fracture after falling off my horse at an event. Jack was completely professional throughout and made sure I was treated quickly and remained comfortable the entire time. I can’t thank Jack enough for the compassionate care he gave me. Thankfully I’m on the mend and hope to be back riding soon!

To Jack and Tim, to whom I will be eternally grateful. I had a seizure caused by a brain tumour I had not previously been aware of. I had a major accident involving the central reservation. I cannot thank them enough for the part they played in helping me. This event has been life changing for me, but at least I am still here to see my grandchildren and other loved family and friends. I owe this in major part to the GWAAC team.

On the 22nd August 2021 the air ambulance arrived and the team on board saved our son’s life. Noah has refractory epilepsy and on that particular morning suffered a seizure that was prolonged and was in respiratory arrest when they arrived. The paramedics were already in our home working to stabilise him, but the crew from Great Western Air Ambulance were able to provide critical care before he was airlifted to intensive care at Southampton hospital. They saved his life.

Nearly every day I think of what a huge blessing it is that we have the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity and how unfortunately fortunate I was to have had the Charity come to my rescue! I’m a very lucky person to have had the team by my side and especially Tim and Mark who are absolutely wonderful.
